Enochian Magic with Scott Stenwick & Cliff Wigtil

One of the most renown forms of Magic we have today was received by the Arch Mage of England John Dee and his scrying counterpart Edward Kelley. No doubt, even if you have a cursory knowledge of the world of Magic, the word “Enochian” conjures up many opinions. For some it is a beyond useful and very powerful type of magical process which tests the magician resolve. For others, it is such a powerful form of magic that doing it could cause ruination, insanity and disaster for the one who dares attempt it. On this Episode, we have Scott Stenwick and Cliff Wigtil helping us get some perspective on the whole enterprise that is called Enochian Magic.

Scott Stenwick is a Thelemite and ritual magician who has been practicing for more than 30 years. He has a degree in experimental psychology from Saint Olaf College and has been involved in the Ordo Templi Orientis since 1995. Initially intending to write one giant book about the Enochian Universe, instead he has blessed us with three excellent books in a series called Mastering Enochian Magic– Mastering Mystical Heptarchy, Mastering the Great Table, and Mastering the Thirty Aires. Cliff Wigtil is an eclectic magician who has over 20 years of experience with mostly Golden-Dawn style ceremonial magic. Since first dabbling in Enochian Magic in 2014, Cliff eventually started his blog Enochian Today which is a virtual treasure trove of Enochian related material, including awesome videos! It is pretty much the most fun one can have reading a book of Magic. Although there’s some blatant myths about the Life of Dee at the beginning (cough 007 has nothing to do with Dee cough) the rest of the book is stellar. Recommended
