For the most part, many Magic and Occult podcasts are in a similar vein. Usually it’s just folks who like magic, talking about magic. While these are all well and good, every once in a while you get a Podcast that is so unique in its ambitions and purview that you have to give it your attention. Matt and Sarah have created such a show. The Campfire’s edge is a podcast for those who live their lives close and from the land, as active agents in any ecosystem. I could not wait to appear on this Podcast and my chat with Matt really is an exceptional conversation! Listen Up!
Matt and Sarah are wonderful people who live life to the absolute fullest. I have always loved the way that the mystical and magical inform their lives. They are the founders of The Hungry Forest Gallery & Press, a collaborative media project sharing stories, art, and deep ecological knowledge.
They are hunters, riverkeepers, parents, and magical practitioners living in North Carolina’s Haw River watershed. The Hungry Forest is their new imprint for publishing physical works rooted in our lived experience as hunters, land custodians, and foragers, guided by the spirits of place, and other beings who share the landscape with them.
Be sure to follow them on Instagram and if you enjoy what they do, as always- get on the Patreon! I myself am a paying supporter!
