The Necronomicon

Perhaps the most notorious Grimoire (Book of Spells) of all time. Occultists and scholars fear this book and the magic within. Known as Al Azif, it was transcribed or received by Abdul Alhazred in the 9th Century. Only five copies of this mysterious text exist, and it is certain that those who study these documents either go mad or come to regret their decision shortly after.
