UFOs?

The most enduring mystery of the last 100 years has been the phenomenon of what appear to be ships or craft in the sky which completely defy gravity. Along with sightings of these craft, there emerged other phenomena including the idea of aliens from other galaxies as well as people being taken aboard these ships and meeting the extraterrestrials in what can be called abductions. Everyone in the western world knows about Unidentified Flying Objects and what they get up to. But is there another way to approach the whole topic that makes it something more than just wondering about visitors from other planets? It’s time to take a different perspective on the whole mystery.

• The Super Natural: A New Vision of the Unexplained by Jeffrey Kripal & Whitley Strieber – One of the best things you can read ever. Get it. Read it
• Saucers: Tracing the Origins of Disc-Shaped UFOs by Chris Aubeck – Very interesting work
• Flying Saucers: A Modern Myth of Things Seen in the Skies by C. G. Jung
• In Plain Sight: A fascinating investigation into UFOs and alien encounters by Ross Coulthart – Probably the best and most up to date representation of what is going on now with this new disclosure season
• D.W. Pasulka – Two books both well worth considering – American Cosmic and Encounters
• Controlling the Lore: A Survey of UFO Folklore in the United States by D. W. Pasulka
• The Phenomenon – A recent UFO documentary which I didn’t absolutely hate
• On The Trails of UFOs – If you want a quick summation of ALL of the UFO stuff in North America since the 40s, this is a good place to start
• Intimate Alien: The Hidden Story of the UFO by David J. Halperin – A bit of the spiritual side of the phenomena
• John Keel is a very important figure that has directed a lot of folks’ perceptions regarding all of the strangeness regarding UFOs. Our Haunted Planet as well as Operation Trojan Horse are well worth reading. Oh yeah, he also wrote about Mothman
• On the Mothman, God, and other monsters: The demonology of John A. Keel by Jeffrey Kripal
• Flying Saucer Pilgrimage by Bryant & Helen Reeve – A very interesting look at the emerging NRM surrounding UFOs
• Supernatural: Meetings with the Ancient Teachers of Mankind by Graham Hancock – Much to consider from my favourite work of Grahams
• The Humiliating UFOs by James Gallant – A brilliant and worthy read
• Ingo Swann has some interesting perspectives in his book Penetration: The Question of Extraterrestrial and Human Telepathy
• Sky People: Untold Stories of Alien Encounters in Mesoamerica by Ardy Sixkiller Clarke – Brilliant book
• Report on Communion: An Independent Investigation of and Commentary on Whitley Strieber’s Communion by Ed Conroy – as wild a ride as Communion
